WELCOME AND FELLOWSHIP/FAMILY LIFE COMMITTEE
Fiona Wardrop would like to introduce the new and improved Welcome and Fellowship and Family Life Committee, aka WFFL. Fiona writes: We are a small group who like to organise events that involve eating!!
We are hoping to become a little larger in numbers. We have a few core people who make sure that supplies are bought, and that events are set up and cleared up, and that volunteers are found when an event takes place or a reception is required for a funeral.
We also provide coffee hour after church.
We have a role for everyone and would appreciate your help and input into future events, now that the pandemic is becoming less of a worry.
If you don’t feel you can commit to being a member of the committee we also have a list of “helpers” who don’t necessarily have the energy or time to commit to regularly taking part but who are willing to bake and help out occasionally.
If you would like to be part of our lovely committee please email Fiona Wardrop fmwardrop@hotmail.com or call 514-693-1186 and leave a message.
Or you can sign up on the sign up sheet that will be in the hallway on Sunday. I look forward to hearing from you.
Fiona Wardrop,
WFFL Chair

NOW THAT CAC HAS CLOSED…
Doris McConnell offers a gentle reminder that the clients who once relied on the CAC food bank for support, are now dependent on West Island Mission or On Rock. The collection box for these West Island food banks is located outside the former CAC pantry. The needs continue.
Your generosity is appreciated.
LENTEN OFFERINGS
Lenten offering envelopes are available in church on Sunday for donations to Saint Columba House, Montreal City Mission and for food insecurity.
A reminder also to continue bringing in non-perishable food items. There will be three collection bins, one each for Dorval Community Aid, Saint Columba House, and West Island Mission/On Rock. Thank you for your continuing generosity.
EASTER FLOWERS
If you would like to remember loved ones with a donation for flowers this Easter, please fill out the form at church on Sunday or email Lisa at the church office at lakeshoretrinityunited@gmail.com.
