BOOK NOOK NEWS, FROM JUDY LINDSAY
Following Earth Day, as we continue to reflect on the care of creation, several relevant titles from the Nook will be out for borrowing this Sunday on the usual table by the kitchen. We highlight:
the book nook
The Gospel According to the Earth: why the Good Book is a Green Book, by Matthew Sleeth (about “reading the Bible through a green lens”).

Greening your Church, by Norman Levesque (the author is active in the Montreal based Green Churches Network, an ecumenical organization with beginnings at St. Columba House).

P.S. Our mini library on church/religious related matters, the Book Nook, is tucked away in a converted section of the coat racks. It’s there for you to browse and borrow but has been keeping a low profile during these covid times, while we are not lingering around. A listing of titles by category is in the Book Nook Catalogue binder, out on the table with the displayed books.

“The Lord God took man and put him in the Garden of Eden to till it and keep it.” Gen. 2:15.
