HOT POTATO BURNS DAY LUNCH
Stay after the service this Sunday, January 29th at 12:00 noon for a hot Burns Day lunch and some warm fellowship on a wintry January day. Baked potatoes with toppings, chili and sweet treats will be available, and Fiona Wardrop promises us a haggis. Wear your favourite tartans, and join in on the fun.
Contributions of baking are welcome.

IN PRAISE OF WINTER
I love winter!
Although I love all of the seasons (all God’s creations) I love winter best!
Snuggled into my warm clothes I hear the slip sliding of skis, the crunch of walking and the silence of snowshoe trails.
Nothing delights me more than the white frosting on the trees and bushes.
A cozy evening by the fire warms my heart as do the colourful winter celebrations of Christmas, New Years, Robbie Burns, and Valentine’s Day.
Away with grumpiness! Let me grab my tuque, scarf, coat and boots and send me out to enjoy winter wonderland!

VALENTINE CONCERT
Maryna Krejcarova invites us to a Valentine’s Concert at Lakeshore Trinity on February 11th at 5:00 p.m. This concert is in support of Ukrainian mothers with children, recently arrived in Quebec. Tickets available at the door: $25.00.
