LTUC CHOIR CONCERT TO BENEFIT THE FOOD BANKS
Come for an afternoon of beautiful music, this Sunday, April 30th, at 3:00 p.m. Our own Lakeshore Trinity United Church choir, under the direction of pianist, Dr. Jan Krejcar,along with guest musicians and soloists, will present a concert in support of our four food banks.

Spring Thing Week schedule: May 6-13
Saturday, May 6th: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, Pickup Day
- Trucks will be out doing pickups all morning
- To reserve a pickup, please call Pam Fraser at 514-426-2090, or the church office at 514-697-6459. Deadline for reservations for large item pickups is Friday May 5th.
- 9:30 a.m. – help is needed to set up tables and help unload trucks.
Sunday, May 7th: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Set up tables, move furniture to sanctuary
Monday, May 8th – Friday, May 12th
- 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
- Sorting, pricing, & testing Please sign up.
Thursday, May 11th: 7:00 p.m.
- Furniture is moved from the Sanctuary to the North Wing
Friday, May 12th: from 1:00 p.m.
- Donations of baking accepted for the bake table.
Saturday, May 7th: 7:00 a.m.
- Workers arrive, items set out in outdoor departments.
- 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – SPRING THING!!!
- 12:30 p.m. – cleanup
Spring Thing is a fun community event. Many hands make light work! Volunteers are welcome at all stages and in all areas. There are sign-up sheets in the hall just outside the kitchen. Please remember:
- Spread the word. Posters are available at the church or you can download a digital version here: Spring thing poster. Please share with your network by email and on social media.
- Gather up items for the sale. Spring Thing can use almost anything you don’t need: kitchenware, small appliances, sports equipment, tools, furniture, linens, jewelry, plants (houseplants, garden perennials, gardening equipment), toys, books, games, clean clothing, dishes, baking!

REV. STEVE TURNS HIS TALENTS TO THE THEATRE

Rev. Steve Gillam will be directing the Lakeshore Players Dorval in their upcoming spring production of “As Bees in Honey Drown” by Douglas Carter Beane. Charyl Hyndman, our Chair of Ministry and Personnel, is the co-producer.
The play will run for eight performances, opening on May 11th, at John Rennie High School, 501 Boulevard St. Jean, Pointe-Claire.

“As Bees In Honey Drown” is a fable for an age that chooses image over substance. This smart, sassy, satirical comedy explores the pitfalls of our unquenchable thirst for instant fame and celebrity, and the lives of the eager almost-famous who easily become the victims of those who promise big but empty dreams.
