REMEMBERING ANN GILLEBRAND MAGAS

ANN GILLEBRAND MAGAS

December 18, 1953 – July 3, 2024

On the evening of July 3, 2024, Ann Gillebrand Magas passed away peacefully, with her dear husband, Mafety Magas by her side. Ann is the daughter of Jean Moir and Clifford B. Gillebrand (both deceased). She leaves behind her daughter, Dawn Muir and partner Patrick Cadieux, Maf’s son, Mathieu Magas and partner Karine Provost, and grandchildren, Ashley Cadieux, Emaley Cadieux, Noemi Magas, and William Magas.

 

She also leaves her beloved congregation of Lakeshore Trinity United Church, many friends, and the rescue animal community.

 

Ann’s drive to live each moment of her life fully and completely, and with love, lives on as inspiration to us all.
The memorial service for Ann Gillebrand Magas will be held at Lakeshore Trinity on Saturday, September 7th. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, with the service at 3:00 PM. A reception will follow in the South Wing.

 

RETURN TO LAKESHORE TRINITY
After a summer of travelling worship around the West Island, we will be returning to Lakeshore Trinity on Sunday, September 8 at our usual time of 11:00 A.M.
We look forward to being back home together again!

 

BACK TO SCHOOL NEEDS
Just a reminder that back-to-school time is especially difficult for those who struggle with food insecurity. Our food collections continue, and we encourage and welcome donations of school supplies.

 

COMING UP
Our annual Corn and Apple Crisp lunch will be held Sunday, September 15th at 12:00 Noon. Don’t miss it!
